Good food, great flavor! Only issue was the website is not accurate. They apparently do not have the $8 lunch menu that was advertised online.

The restaurant is in a great location. The food was good, but not great. The service was good, but not great. The appetizer of tater tots was good. I had the ribeye. It was cooked properly, but was missing something. The food also showed up a little on the cold side. The beer I ordered which was from a local brewery was good, but a little on the warm side. I will try this location again and hope the last experience was just a one off.

Had a great dinner at Liberty Tap. Bavarian pretzel and wing apps were delicious and my steak salad was perfect! Our server, Cole M, was terrific. He provided great service and was fun.

I went for my birthday. Was new in town. The service was good. The food was okay, but the menu had a lot of good options so I am open to trying something else in the future. My drink was good. Ambiance was great. I’ll would go back for sure.

The food didn't taste good and the waitress brought me the wrong drink and it tasted bad.

I came in ready to eat and I wasn't disappointed. The burger was firm and juicy medium well masterpiece. When in with a group and everyone enjoyed the bar food. Server was nice, knew we came for games, beer and food. Even the baked mac was outstanding. I will come back again if I am in town.

Jason S was amazing. My family and I came in for a quick meal and he gave such amazing service we ended up staying longer than planned. Give this man a manager position immediately. And the Manger of the restaurant was exceptional as well. I can tell his leadership is spreading through the staff. If I could give 10 stars so would!

Excellent beer selection. Delicious cocktails. Friendly, attentive waitress. Most of the food is above average (apps, pizza, salads, burgers), but the "house specialties" are just okay... you can get better versions of the same dishes at other places.

What an excellent experience all around! The food, the drinks, the service and the atmosphere was all around top notch. The Manager April was so kind, courteous and welcoming to our party. Our waitress checked on us several times and our drinks were always filled. We ordered the Tailgate Dip for our appetizer, it was rich, meaty and creamy and full of flavor. The Caesar salad was crisp and fresh. The macaroni and cheese is top notch. The entrees didn’t disappoint, the fish and chips were amazing. The fish was flaky and very tender. The Angus Beef meatloaf was also some of the best meatloaf I’ve had. The Yukon golden mashed potatoes and gravy were like Grandma used to make. The green beans had a great smoky charred flavor. The bananas foster cheesecake is a MUST have!

A couple friends and I attended happy hour with Jason as our waiter. He was incredible friendly and attentive to our table. The food was greatand we enjoyed our time.

The food overall was good just something that we didn't like. A friend order a Reuben sandwich one thick slice of meat, like thin slices better they didn't know you can order it thinner until she ate it. My meatloaf dish did taste very good but didn't like the fact that the meatloaf was very thin slice then. Putting the mash potato on top and another very bare thin slice of meatloaf on top of that and another scoop of mash potato still not enough meatloaf. Just put the meatloaf separate from the mash potato. Thanks wait staff was very friendly nice and patient because we did have a large group. We will be best.

Stopped for late lunch on a Monday after Dr appt. Bartender knowledgeable of craft beer. Great hand made fresh mozzarella pizza. Would go back

First time visit and had a nice experience. The meals were good. It was my sons birthday.I ordered the chicken and waffle chicken could use a tad more seasoning waffle nice and fluffy.My husbands philly cheese was just Ok....think seasoning was the problem also.My son ordered the ribs he really enjoyed. Wings and clubs sandwich my kids said were great. Our Waiter Matt was excellent very attentive and gave great service. We will go back.

Food was really good. Cooked to order. Hunter was a great server. Wings were delicious. The hick up we had was the silverware was DIRTY. Brought it to manager Cindy's attention. She was very apologetic, of course no explanation, she knows not acceptable. But again just goes to show can have great food, great service and this encounter makes you like ugh!!! And we were visiting from out of town.

We came in late with a large party. They accommodated us cheerfully. Good food and drinks.

I've never had bad service and I've eaten here at least 10 times. The food is topnotch and comes out pretty quickly. The bartenders are the best, they make the best cocktails you'll find at a chain restaurant. The staff is always friendly and there's an overall positive vibe.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Steak cooked exactly as ordered. Local ingredients! My first time trying grits and I was not disappointed. Relaxing atmosphere and it is not physically possible to try even a part of the extensive beer list in one visit.

Had a great dinner. Food was very good and our server Cole was wonderful. He had great recommendations and a wonderful personality! Will definitely come back when we come to visit our daughter at USC

Really good filet! Cooked perfectly! And the mashed potatoes were heavenly! Thomas did a wonderful job with our huge table (20+) and made sure our drinks were always full and we got exactly what we ordered. Very impressed.

The food is always great but what really surprises me is how good the service is. Every time I eat here I receive probably the best service I’ve ever had. Always impressed.

Great service, decent chicken and waffles, was hoping to try the duck tacos but they didn't have them available that day.

We enjoyed everything about our meal. The food and portions were delicious and fair, the prices were average, and the old historic building added to the experience. Family friendly, even has a kids menu, large diverse craft beer menu, and solid location. We'll be back when we visit Columbia again. Our server was pleasant and attentive.

Great menu with unique options available. Fresh ingredients, nice atmosphere. Different sports on the tvs if you're into the games. Not many vegetarian options, but you can certainly customize the cauliflower tacos which is what I did. They were delicious and hubbies chicken tenders and waffles were yummy too. Salad is a good size and fresh greens. I'd come back even though it's only a few things I can eat there.

This was a quite upscale and fancy little bar I enjoyed it very old school Nostalgia feeling enjoy the rum and coke while my business partner had a beer when were able to chat it up with some young ladies at the bar and we had a wonderful evening I would recommend this place to anybody

Delicious food, good atmosphere, and equally good customer service. The staff at the bar was friendly, prompt, and skilled. When our table was ready, we enjoyed delicious appetizers (get the tailgate dip!), my steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes and asparagus were awesome!

My family and I have visited the Liberty Taproom three times now and have loved each visit. Their staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. You really can't beat the atmosphere if you're dining with family. Large beer selection to compliment an outstanding dinner menu boasting some delectable appetizers! If you're in Columbia it's a must try!

I got the chicken and waffles. Had heard mix reviews on the speed of service but was pleasantly surprised at the rate they brought us our appetizer and then entree. The chicken was just decent but the waffle was wonderful. Will definitely be back to get it again. One of the better locations to stop at if you are in the area. I don't think one could find a better price to quality stops. Edit: I forgot to mention the bacon! So good. They definitely didn't cut costs there like a lot of the other restaurants around them and I appreciate that.

Nice place, friendly service. Good beer and food. But need to take one star because of fries. Who had the idea to make fires looking like toothpicks?

I live up north, but am in Columbia on business. Very pleased that I stumbled upon Liberty Tap Room! Great menu for both beer and food. I had the Ahi tuna sandwich and it was phenomenal! This place is a must try!

I've never seen so much duck on a menu before. Thus I had to try the duck BLT and the blue crab soup. Great meal and the duck BLT was well worth the try.

The food was good but the service from our server, Emily, was exemplary. She frequently attended to our table of five patrons. It was Emily's attentive service which made our experience very pleasurable. Highly recommend this eatery and be sure to ask for Emily as your server. I commended Emily to the manager and advised him of her excellent service and asset to his establishment.

Food was excellent as was the service and atmosphere. Pricey but good proportions. I would definitely eat here again.

Very happy with the food and staff. Thank you for a nice evening considering having to evacuate for the hurricane. If I'm ever back in Columbia again, I will definitely come back.

The service at Liberty Tap Room was impeccable. We were seated and served with food and drinks within minutes of arriving. Jason was our waiter and he couldn’t have better. He provided recommendations for us and went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy! We hope to visit again soon!

Thomas did an amazing job keeping our drinks filled and staying on top of everything we needed. Will definitely come back and ask for him. Ribeye was great as well as the collards.

So disappointed! I went on A Sunday and it was relatively dead, yet the service was awful despite the fact there were so few customers. I had to go to the hostess stand myself on two occasions to refill our water as we never saw our waitress. Our entree came before our appetizer and the chicken on the chicken sandwich was extremely thin, barely any meat at all. The shrimp and grits were not very good, definitely not what we’ve enjoyed elsewhere.I’ve been here 4 times so it’s not the worst, but this was the last straw and I won’t be back

Friendly staff & great food. Came for happy hour & stayed much longer than expected.

Great environment. Food and drinks were on point and I’ll definitely be going back next time I’m in the area. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Drink menu was awesome as well. We sat on the bar side which was still busy but staff was still on top of their game.

I can in late on January 7th pretty much right at close and the server and the cook were great. Food was great!!!

Sat at the bar before and during a game day. Service was a little slow but honestly great for the crowd they had. The tacos were delicious and the beer selection was on point.

I had a decent experience this time. I didnt think to take pictures this time however. I sat at the bar and just ordered whiskey and cokes. Both of which were great the bartender was good. However I ordered a rib eye steak at medium. And when I got it, it was over cooked on the most part however the eye was medium. I dont know if this was their choice, but the rest was well done.

Wonderful service! Jason was the best waiter! He was well versed in all specials and helped us choose what to order. The food did not disappoint!

Great food and super fast awesome service from Emily in the dining room to get us in and out and to our concert on time! Had multiple apps and pizza. Good variety of drinks and local beer on tap too!

The service and food were both great. They seated us far enough from the next group to be compliant with Covid-19 regulations. We will definitely vist again.
